OutcomeQuest – Your vision assessment after cataract surgery

About one and three months after your cataract operation: a short questionnaire on light phenomena, vision without glasses and your satisfaction. It takes about 5 minutes; your answers are encrypted.

Dr. Valery Vinzent Wittwer

About one and three months after your cataract operation, we ask you to complete a short questionnaire. This helps us to see how satisfied you are with your vision and whether light phenomena bother you.

Go to the questionnaire

What is asked

  • Light phenomena such as rings of light, rays or glare: how often they occur, how strong they are and how much they bother you
  • Seeing without glasses at a distance, at intermediate distance and up close
  • Your satisfaction with the result

Pictures of a car journey help you to set your impressions. The structure is based on established questionnaires on quality of vision and the outcome of cataract surgery [1, 2]. It takes about 5 minutes to complete.

How it works

  • Complete the questionnaire on your mobile phone or on the tablet at the practice.
  • At the end, you will receive a QR code. Show it to the practice team, who will use it to read in your answers.
  • If you have completed the questionnaire at home, take a screenshot and show it at your next appointment.

Data protection

Your answers are not saved. They are contained in encrypted form in the QR code, and only your eye practice can open them.
